This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and service charges are handled when you use our train ticket booking services.

By using our website or WhatsApp booking service, you agree to this policy.


🚆 Nature of Service

vBooking operates as an IRCTC Authorised Travel Agent and provides railway ticket booking and customer assistance services.

Please note:

  • Train tickets are governed fully by IRCTC / Indian Railways rules.

  • vBooking does not control railway refund amounts, deductions, timelines, or cancellation charges.


❌ Ticket Cancellation

Train tickets can be cancelled as per official IRCTC and Indian Railways cancellation policies, subject to:

  • Time before departure

  • Ticket type (Confirmed / RAC / Waiting List)

  • Quotas and class of travel

Cancellation requests must be made as early as possible.
Once cancelled, the railway system processes the refund automatically.


💰 Railway Ticket Refunds

  • All ticket fare refunds are processed by IRCTC / Indian Railways, not by vBooking.

  • Refunds are credited back to the original payment method used for booking.

  • The refund timeline depends on IRCTC and banking partners.

vBooking has no authority to speed up, stop, or modify railway refunds.


🧾 vBooking Service Charges

If vBooking charges any service or assistance fee, please note:

  • Service charges are for professional booking support and customer assistance only.

  • Once the service has been provided, service fees are non-refundable, even if the ticket is later cancelled or not confirmed.

  • Railway refunds, if any, do not include vBooking service charges, unless explicitly stated.


⚠️ Non-Refundable Situations

vBooking service charges will not be refunded if:

  • Wrong passenger details were provided by the user

  • The customer changes their travel plan

  • Tickets are cancelled by the user

  • The train is delayed, rescheduled, or cancelled by railways

  • Seat confirmation is not achieved

  • Railway policies change


✅ Eligible Refunds (Service Side)

Refunds of vBooking service fees may be considered only if:

  • A verified duplicate payment is made

  • A technical error causes an incorrect charge

  • vBooking is unable to provide the requested service at all

If approved, refunds are processed within 5–7 working days.
